Website information (this website):

• This website uses Firebase Hosting and Firebase Analytics (provided by Google LLC). Firebase Analytics may collect device identifiers, approximate location derived from IP address, pages visited, and session data. Firebase may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to operate and improve the Service. See Google's Privacy Policy and the Firebase Privacy and Security page for details.
• Cookies and similar technologies: We use technically necessary cookies (required for the website to function) and analytics cookies set by Firebase. Where required by law, analytics cookies are only placed with your consent. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect website functionality.

Sensor or system data (only if applicable and with your consent):

• If Flow Watt integrates with device sensors or external services (for example, power/energy monitoring hardware or cloud accounts), we may collect relevant telemetry. We only collect this data when you explicitly connect the service and grant permission.

• Improve and personalise the user experience, including troubleshooting and analytics.
• Send relevant notifications and updates if you opt in.
• Respond to support requests and communicate about account or service changes.
• Detect, investigate, and prevent fraudulent or other illegal activities and security incidents.

We do not make decisions about you solely by automated means that produce legal or similarly significant effects. Analytics data may be used to generate personalised tips within the app, but no legally significant automated decisions are made.

Where applicable under the GDPR or UK GDPR, we process personal data on the following bases:

• Consent — for analytics cookies and optional marketing communications. You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing flowwatt-feedback@gmail.com or by adjusting your browser cookie settings. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.

We use the following third-party services that may process data on our behalf:

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) — app hosting, authentication, analytics, crash reporting, and cloud functions. Privacy info.

These providers are contractually bound to process data only for the purposes we specify and in accordance with applicable law.

Third-party integrations:

When you connect a third-party service (for example, a cloud energy provider or hardware partner), data necessary for that integration will be shared with the third party only with your explicit authorisation.

Legal requirements:

We may disclose information to comply with legal obligations, respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or protect our rights, property, safety, or users.

Business transfers:

If Flow Watt is involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganisation, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will require the acquirer to honour this Privacy Policy.

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to provide the Service and fulfil the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Aggregate or anonymised data may be retained indefinitely for analytics and product improvement purposes.

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure — if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately (see Contact section below).

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data. We will respond to verifiable requests within 30 days (extendable to 90 days where permitted by law). We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.

EEA / UK residents (GDPR / UK GDPR):

• The right to request deletion of your personal data.
• The right to restrict or object to certain processing activities.

To withdraw consent for analytics cookies, adjust your browser settings or contact us. For all other requests, contact us using the details in Section 12.

California residents (CCPA / CPRA):

• Right to know — you may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, the sources, our business purpose for collecting it, and the categories of third parties with whom we share it.
• Right to delete — you may request deletion of personal information we have collected, subject to certain exceptions.
• Right to correct — you may request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Right to opt out of sale/sharing — we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
• Right to non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

California residents may submit a rights request by emailing flowwatt-feedback@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days, extendable by an additional 45 days where necessary.

Flow Watt is not directed to children. The minimum age to use the Service is:

• 16 years in the European Economic Area and United Kingdom (unless the applicable member state has set a lower age, which may be no less than 13).
• 13 years in the United States and all other jurisdictions.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable minimum age without verifiable parental consent. If you believe we have collected information from a child without consent, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.

Data collected by Flow Watt may be processed and stored in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States (where Google LLC operates Firebase infrastructure). When we transfer personal data across borders, we take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable law (for example, Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers from the EEA).

The Service may contain links to third-party websites, services, or SDKs. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. Please review their privacy policies before providing information.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will provide prominent notice (for example, an in-app notification or an update to the effective date at the top of this page). Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
